cmpblldllghn: I don’t “blog” that often about my job, but last night during a meeting with two german agency bros, this little gem struck me as particularly “bloggable.” Them: People share images on Facebook and Tumblr either aspirationally or because they want to show off. Me: People also use these applications to archive and collect things. I use Tumblr because I like to keep a record of notable images. Them: Well, you’re a woman, and that’s a female response. It’s like, hunter-gathering. Like Pinterest. Me: Plenty of men use Tumblr. Them: That’s because men are becoming soft and weak. What Tumblr might need more of are more bits from meetings like this.
