Moon’s Creation Questioned by Chemistry

The theory stands that Theia, a Mars-sized object, hit Earth causing chunks to spin off eventually creating the moon. This new study determined that theory to be much less likely as the Moon’s chemistry is identical to Earth’s, which is extremely rare.
