Happy Birthday, Mick Jones!

It’s Mick Jones’ birthday! This is from Rude Boy, which I saw when it came out in theaters because I am very old. I believe it was at the Capital Theater in gorgeous Passaic, NJ with the guy who owned the record store in town and his friend, a dude I had a giant crush on.

Thirty years later (gasp), Mick is probably best known for snorting coke with supermodel Kate Moss, but back in the day … well, he probably would’ve snorted coke with supermodels then too. (I don’t mean this in a disparaging way—who wouldn’t?)
